A HUGE, High Quality Aetomylaeus sp., an Eagle ray, mouth plate from Caldera area of Chile. An April Fossil of the Month. An excellent plate of pavement teeth from the lower jaw. This plate has good preservation, light brown color, and is exceptionally clean. Note - the bottom side of this specimen is completely matrix free - rare. A Top Quality Ptychodus mortoni, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. A symphyseal tooth from the front rows. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Eagle Ford Fm. tooth. These  teeth have a design that includes a high cusp with radiating occlusal ridges extending across the cusp face.
