An ULTRA Rare, TOP QUALITY Parotodus benedeni tooth from Sharktooth Hill, near Bakersfield California. A December 2022 Fossil of the Month. This tooth has a highly desirable light tan enamel and a very massive root. This Parotodus benedeni tooth remains mounted on the original Round Mountain Silt matrix and it is sitting on a chunk of whale bone. The crown enamel has very good luster and very sharp edges. Highest quality enamel! Note -  a small (~1/8") tip repair was professionally done.  A very difficult tooth to locate and an EXCEPTIONAL Collector's tooth! Authenticity guaranteed.  One of the rarest P. benedeni teeth. This incredible display piece came out of a 25 year old old collection.

A rare, Top Quality, EXTRA LARGE Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. Another June 2018 Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An exceptional manus claw. Highest quality rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible perservation with exceptional surfaces - no pitting, nicks or wear - superb surface articulation! There is some professional restoration which is typical for a big Anzu wyliei manus claw. The tip has a small section repaired and the proximal edge has a small triangular area repaired which starts at the center of proximal surface (see photo). An Ultra Rare, rooted Top Quality Allosaurus fragilis tooth measuring 3-3/8". This Allosaurus crown measures 1-1/2" and is wide for its size (5/8"). The enamel is high quality. Great rich brown color. Very good serrations on both sides all the way to the wear facet. Very good serrations for a large tooth. Two cracks was stabilizied. A little repair was done on the narrowest section of the root. Excellent overall condition with very good serrations. An excellent quality tooth! Allosuarus was the apex during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Moffat Co., Colorado. A rare, EXTRA LARGE, GEM Quality Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. A February Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". A fantastic manus claw. This is 1st manus claw which is largest and most robust; often referred as the "thumb". Excellent rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible preservation - no pitting, nicks or wear. All surfaces are fantasic - very rare. Note - a small tip area was professionally restored which is typical for most Hell Creek claws. The repair is quite small with the repaired area being 5 mm on the right facing side of the tip. On the left facing side of tip, it is 1-2 mm. This is top quality, collector's claw from the Hell Creek of Montana. "Flaming Red Auric"  A very rare, EXTRA LARGE Auriculatus lateral tooth with a tan crown and a gorgeous, highly articulated red colored root. The bourlette is red colored, extra large, and nearly complete. The serrations are very nice -  large, razor sharp, and complete. Massive side cusps.  Incredible preservation -  among the finest you will see with an Auriculatus. The only challenge with this tooth is the left root corner broke during extraction and was reattached. The repair work is very well done and very hard to detect (no filler).   These Peruvian Aurics are very rare.
