An EXTRA LARGE, very rare, GEM Quality Parotodus benedeni  tooth with a massive root from Euhaw Creek, Jasper Co., So. Carolina. A Miocene-Pliocene age tooth from the Hawthorne Fm. Nice Charcoal Gray color. Lateral tooth. Highest quality enamel with razor sharp edges and a "needle-like" sharp tip. Root is complete, thick (11/16"), nicely articulated, and a very small hydration crack. No wear! No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A very difficult tooth to locate.

An ultra rare, Top Quality Parotodus benedeni lateral tooth with a massive root from the St. Mary's River, Georgia. A Miocene age tooth from the Hawthorne Fm.  An excellent red & gray colored tooth! High quality enamel with sharp edges. Root is massive, complete, nicely articulated, and has essentially no hydration crack. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A very difficult tooth to locate from a loction that produces few Parotodus teeth. You never see top quality Parotodus teeth from the St. Mary's River. An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Hexanchus microdon tooth from the Khouribga phosphate mining area of Morocco. This is a complete lower jaw tooth with nine primary cusps. A male species tooth. A Top Quality, Extra Large Sperm whale tooth, Scaldicetus sp., from the ACE river basin, So. Carolina. A Miocene age whale tooth. This tooth has a wonderful spiked enamel crown and a large, nearly complete round root. The tip of the crown has a small natural wear facet - quite common for these teeth. This tooth shows excellent detail - very well preserved. The root is extra wide and nicely articulated. A very well preserved specimen with no river wear! An excellent BIG Sperm whale tooth. An October Fossil of the Month.  The Phareodus was a carnivorous fish with large pointed teeth and a long pectoral fin. This piece is from the 18 Inch Layer which is extremely hard and difficult to prepare. It also provides the most detailed, highly preserved fossils. Exceptional preservation and preparation.
