The my last July 2017 Fossil of the Month is a GEM 4-11/16" Megalodon - upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth. Fantastic colors - gray enamel and a jet black bourlette. Highest quality enamel - glass-like surface. The finest enamel preservation - very rare! An exceptional black bourlette - near complete. Razor sharp serrations including an exceptional tip serration. Serrations are just about perfect. The root is incredible - a medium brown, nicely articulated, and complete with very small hydration cracks on the display side. A Top Quality Thescelosaurus neglectus caudal (tail) vertebra from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A March Fossil of the Month. Thescelosaurus is a mid-sized dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This bone quality is excellent with excellent color and patina. Highest quality bone preservation.
