A Scarce Megalodon tooth from Dakhla area, Western Sahara, Morocco. This tooth is attached to a piece of sandstone matrix with a quartz crystal pocket at the base - very unusual! These Megalodon teeth are great for gifts, class room, or starting your fossil shark tooth or Megalodon collection. These Megs are Miocene age - about 14 MYA. No repair or restoration. Excellent overall quality and preservation. Very good anterior and posterior serrations. Excellent growth waves near cutting edge. Large position tooth in jaw - extra wide crown. Absolutely no cracks running across the tooth. There is an one inch area on the reverse side that must of lifted and it was stabilized. No restoration. A High Quality , 4-1/8" ULTRA RARE Caribbean Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible very light creamy tan colored crown with interesting light charcoal gray patterning. High quality enamel with no hydration cracks. The Caribbean Megalodon teeth consistently offer the closest to white colored enamel. Excellent color! The bourlette is large and essentially perfect.
