A GEM, 6" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - ANTERIOR tooth. Our March 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light golden tan colored crown with an exceptional white bourlette and mostly complete. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional golden tan color! The bourlette is huge and near perfect. The serrations are razor sharp with an exceptional tip serration. Nearly PERFECT serrations (2-3 serrations damaged near the base  - all serrations are razor sharp. Exceptional serrations for a really big Meg! The root is an excellent white color with few no hydration cracks and complete. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). The finest example of a 6" classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth that I have seen considering the shape, color, and preservation. An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Struthiomimus altus upper toe bone or metatarsal from the late Cretaceous of North America. Struthiomimus is a long legged, bipedal, toothless dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The Struthiomimus means "ostrich mimic" which best describes this species. An execellent metatarsal bone. Big and heavy. Excellent brown color and patina. This specimen has very good overall perservation. A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus frill section from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for three horns and the large frill protecting its neck. An ultra rare Big, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth from a large adult Rex. A July 2020 Fossil of the Month. This stocky Rex crown measures 3-5/8" (straight line) and is thick for its size (1-1/4"). The enamel is highest quality. Great rich dark chocolate brown and black color. Excellent serrations on the anterior and posterior serrations. Note - There is no wear facet at the tip and this tooth is serrated to the tip (a recently erupted BIG tooth - rare). One partial hydration crack which was stabilized. No breaks. No repair or restoration. A 100% natural tooth! Fantastic overall condition with incredible serrations for a large Rex tooth. A rare TOP QUALITY, Great White shark transition tooth set from Chile. This three tooth set includes upper jaw anterior teeth from Carcharodon hastalis, Carcharodon hubbelli and Carcharodon carcharias. The C. hubbelli tooth has small serrations at the base of the cutting edge, transition to very fine serrations at mid crown and disappear towards the tip. No repair or restoration.
