A RARE, Troodon formosus tooth from the Hell Creek Fm. of western North America. Troodontid teeth are known for their very unique shaped teeth with unusually large distal serrations. The enamel is excellent with a good brown color.  Please note that Hell Creek Fm. Troodon teeth typically have weak or no anterior serrations. This is a damaged specmen. No repair or restoration. A GEM, 4-3/8" Classic Peruvian Megalodon tooth. Our February 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light orange colored crown with an exceptional two tone bourlette.
