An incredibly preserved, EXTRA LARGE Miocene Gomphotherium molar from Chatham Co., Georgia.  An extinct elephant ancestor that evolved in the Early Miocene and lived through the Pleistocene of North America. A late Jurassic sauropod limb bone section from the Morrison Fm. This is most likely a Camarasaurus ulna end section. Camarasaurus was a mid- sized Jurassic sauropod.. Great rich brown gray color with a gray patina. Excellent bone quality. Note - sauropods had hollow bones with air sacs to reduce their weight.
