An EXTRA LARGE,  TOP QUALITY, Metasequoia dakotensis cone from Montana. These "dinosaur age" pine cones are found in the Hell Creek Formation of Dawson Co., Montana. These Upper Cretaceous pine cones are high quality with great preservation. They are fully inflated spheres and maximun size (redwoods produce very small cones for their size!). A rare Top Quality Camptosaurus humerus bone from the Morrison Fm. This juvenile Camptosaurus humerus measures 9-1/2". The bone is high quality. Excellent brown color and patina. Great overall condition with no restoration. Just basic crack fill. Camptosaurus was a large, bipedal  ornithischian herbivore that lived during the late Jurassic.
