An ultra rare, Top Quality EXTRA LARGE Edestus heinrichi shark whorl section with 3 big crowns, from Herrin, Illinois. An April Fossil of the Month. Note - this tooth has a lot of pyrite and the tip is naturally rounded (polished)  which thought to be due to the vertical whipping motion used to slice prey.  Excellent preservation, serrations, and serration detail. An excellent Neotherium mirum jaw section (right mandible) from the Sharktooth Hill area, near Bakersfield, California. Neotherium is a basal walrus. An ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Carcharocles megalodon posterior tooth from the James River, Virginia. A nice light copper color. Great color! The enamel is the highest quality. The serrations are sharp and complete with a tip serration. Bourlette is dark brown and complete. The root is complete. A rare Megalodon tooth from Sumatra, Indonesia. This Meg is serrated.
