An Ultra Rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth. Another August 2018 Fossil of the Month. This Rex crown measures 4-1/2" (straightline) and is thick (1-9/16") - a massive Rex tooth. The enamel is very high quality and a rich dark brown color. Good posterior and anterior serrations with a small amount of natural tip wear. An extra wide base. This is a big and heavy tooth. Note - this tooth was cracked in a freeze cycle as evidenced by the cracks in the top half of the tooth. The preparator did a exceptional job prepping this tooth and it is rock solid now. A small area of the cutting edge was rebuilt about midway on both the anterior and posterior sides (see final photo). Excellent overall condition for a big Rex tooth. A incredibly rare & special tooth! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. An EXTRA LARGE Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. An ultra rare, Top Quality Parotodus benedeni tooth from the Ica region of Peru. A July Fossil of the Month. Highest quality enamel. An excellent tan colored crown with clean edges. Excellent color. This is a late Miocene age tooth (6-8 MYA). Please note that there is an ~1/4" wedge restored on inside of the left root end. A desert shark from the deserts of Peru! A well prepared, rare spiny Dicranurus monstrosus trilobite on original matrix. Incredible detail and completeness. The huge spines are fully preserved and exposed. An ultra rare, Quality lower jaw lateral Hexanchus tooth - the Sixgill Cow shark, from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth has a rich blue & tan crown with a brownroot. Ten main cusps (all complete). Yes, the root has cracks on the display side, but the tooth never broke and has been quite sturdy.  Incredible color and preservation. These are Pliocene age, Yorktown Formation teeth. A fantastic collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A rare, strange Top Quality Pathologic Carcharodon hastalis, Broad-tooth Mako, shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from the Bahia Iglesa Fm. of Chile. The left root lobe folded behind the tooth and smashed into the back of the root. The crown has multiple waves. Excellent color and preservation. Complete tooth. Top quality. Authenticity guaranteed.
