A TOP QUALITY, very rare Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Suwanee River, Suwanee Co., Florida. An excellent canine or incisor tooth (see photo for tooth positions).  An incredible red colored crown and a brown root. Nicely articulated. Note - enamel tip shows a very small wear pattern on crown. Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age. Well preserved egg shell pieces from the second Late Cretaceous Titanosaur dinosaur from southern France. This was a medium sized Titanosaur. A very unique shell design with well defined small dimples. These egg shell pieces are typical size for these small eggs with a shell thickness of ~1/8". A rare Mako shark tooth from Sumatra, Indonesia. These teeth appear to be juvenile Isurus desori teeth (narrow crown) and are scarce in the Sumatran deposit. They were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth. D054 is the lower jaw tooth on the right. Authenticity guaranteed.
