An expertly prepared, rare GEM quality Thysanopeltis speciosa trilobite. A November Fossil of the Month. A very uniquely designed trilobite. The preparation is German with all original colors and no restoration. Great natural brown and black shell with excellent luster. The eyes are compound under magnification, but this species does not have a deep facet design. A Middle Devonian (380 mya) trilobite from the Djebel Issoumour, Alif area, Atlas Mts., Morocco. An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY Mosasaurus beaugei tooth from the Cretaceous of Khouribga, Morocco. Excellent preservation. Note - the well defined flat ridges running the length of the crown - a M. beaugei characteristic. This massive specimen has an excellent wide cross-section. A GEM, 4-7/8"+" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. This Meg has an incredible light tan and blue colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel - complete! Exceptional color! The bourlette is excellent and complete! The serrations are large and razor sharp - perfect. An excellent tip serration. Exceptional serrations for a big Meg! The root is an excellent tan color and absolutely complete. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Miocene age = 15 MYA). This tooth is from an old collection. One of the finest examples of a classic upper jaw anterior Lee Creek Megs considering the shape, color, and preservation. A Very Rare, Top Quality (Gem) Rolfodon ludvigseni tooth from Hornby Island, British Columbia, Canada. An August Fossil of the Month. This is a new genius from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. A unique species of Chlamydoselachiform shark, the Frill shark. These teeth exhibit classic Frill shark design with a central cusp flanked by two lateral cusps. A lateral tooth. The crown is complete and the root is complete. Note - two crown ends were very neatly reattached without fill or gaps which is typical for a matrix free specimen. Crack lines are hard to see without magnification. Highest quality enamel.
