An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Hexanchus griseus tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. A March Fossil of the Month. This is complete lower jaw tooth. Superb preservation and color. Thirteen very sharp and primary cusps. An excellent root - very unique & difficult to find! An Extra Large, Top Quality Chilean Hexanchus griseus tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. This is an extra large upper jaw parasymphyseal tooth with a single primary cusp. Excellent preservation and fantastic color. Perfect cusp. This tooth was found in the Bahia Inglesa Fm. and is late Miocene to early Pliocene age. A scarce collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. Unfortunately there are no more teeth coming from this site. This rare piece is from an old collection!
