A Rare, colorful Peruvian Megalodon tooth. This Megalodon has an incredible tan colored crown with an exceptional red - brown bourlette. The root is brown and red. Great color! Top quality enamel. The bourlette is excellent and mostly complete. The serrations are large and sharp with a slightly damaged tip serration. This Megalodon was found in the Ocucate area of Peru (Miocene age). A rare, Top Quality Theropod tooth from the late Cretaceous of Mississippi. A Troodontid type dinosaur found in North America. The enamel is excellent quality with excellent color / patina. This crown is fully serrated with fine serrations on one carina and very fine serrations on the other. The crown is also has vertical striations. Possible relative to Richardoestesia, but different from typical Late Cretaceous species. No repair or restoration. A LARGE, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens caudal (tail) vertebra "chevron" from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The chevron is the appendage that resides below the tail vertebra that provides structure to the base of the tail. Chevron bones rarely survive and this one is 95% complete - rare! Bone quality is excellent and heavy. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm.,Harding Co., So. Dakota. A very rare, Top Quality Edestus heinrichi shark tooth, from Herrin, Illinois. This is a Paleozoic shark that lived in swamps that our now underground coal deposits. An excellent matrix specimen that inludes the opposing tooth mold as well. Excellent preservation, serrations, and serration detail. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion or a vertical whipping motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically. A very strange looking and unique acting shark. Shark recreation image is credited to Julio Lacerdo. These rare teeth are Pennsylvanian age from Illinois. An EXTRA LARGE Ultra Rare, Top Quality Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis premaxillary tooth from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A February Fossil of the month. This tooth is often referred to as the Pachy "Fang". There are posterior serrations present on this tooth. There is also a small wear facet on the tooth (quite common). Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by spikes. The enamel is excellent quality with great color and patina. An ULTRA RARE Top Quality, 6-1/4" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. A February Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light tan colored crown with brown bourlette, and light tan root. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color!  The serrations are razor sharp and essentially complete including an excellent tip serration. Incredible serrations for a BIG Megalodon tooth.
