A rare High Quality Carcharomodus escheri, a "serrated Mako" shark tooth - lower jaw anterior tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. The Carcharomodus escheri  was named as a new genus in 2015 based upon a crenulated cutting edge ("wavy serrations"), slender & duistally inclined crown, and side cusplets. This tooth has good color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge. Two side cusplets. The age is late Miocene (approx. 6-8 million years ago). An excellent rare collector's tooth. A HUGE, High Quality Aetomylaeus sp., an Eagle ray, mouth plate from Caldera area of Chile. An April Fossil of the Month. An excellent plate of pavement teeth from the lower jaw. A "Flying" Cyphaspis tafilaltense trilobite. A great "Flying" specimen on a matrix pedestal with the long spines that are free standing. A LARGE, TOP QUALITY Eremotherium laurillardoi sloth tooth from an extinct genus of giant ground sloths from Georgia. This sloth is part the family of largest ground sloths and their teeth are described as "brick-like". The Norh American cousin to Megatherium.  This tooth has excellent preservation and shows little water wear. It's complete with absolutely no restoration or repair.
