The October 2015 Week #4 Fossil of the Month is a LARGE, GEM Megalodon PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR upper jaw tooth from the Bolan Hall Creek, Jasper Co., So. Carolina. A gorgeous symmetrical Meg with a greenish - tan crown. High quality enamel. The brown bourlette is incredible, very glossy, anbd essentially complete. A LARGE Chubutensis - upper jaw tooth on its original sandstone matrix. Gorgeous variegated brown, tan & gray colored enamel with no peel. Incredible color! Good side cusps.  Extra sharp serrations are incredible. The bourlette is a brown color and essentially complete. A LARGE, GEM Quality Edmontosaurus annectens  tooth from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The enamel is excellent quality with excellent color / patina. Excellent preservation showing the intricate texture of the root. No repair or restoration. An ULTRA RARE, MONSTER Great White shark transition tooth, Carcharodon hubbelli from Chile. A BIG upper jaw lateral tooth. A June Fossil of the Month. This tooth has a tan colored crown, a distinct gum line, and a brown root. Good color! Highest quality enamel with little hydration cracks and no peeling. This C. hubbelli tooth has medium serrations at the base of the cutting edge, transition to fine serrations at mid crown and disappear towards the tip. Serrations are large at the base with a good tip serration. The root is extra wide. Note - the root root lobe was cracked and probably reatttached - hard to see. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. No repair or restoration. An exceptional Great White transition form!  It will be extremely difficult to locate Carcharodon hubbelli. A super rare collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.
