A HUGE, Top Quality Ptychodus mammillaris, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Kamp Ranch Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design with strong transverse ridges across the cusp that transition to a concentric pattern at the base of the cusp. Authenticity guaranteed. Note - one margin has a natural crack which contains matrix within it and the root structure is missing. This is a rare species and a suer rare size - this specimen exceeds the maximum size recorded for Texas!

Tyrannosaurus rex tooth section with serrations. This tooth section measures 1-1/8". The top quality enamel has exceptional color and patina. This section is from the distal or rear carina. Serrations run down the center of the section.  Wall thickness is 5/16". A 100% natural tooth section. T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. A Rare, "Flying" Minicryphaeus giganteus trilobite. Another November Fossil of the Month. The specimen has been expertly prepared to make it completely free standing in a flying position. A very rare, Angustidens tooth from Ungosa, Mangyshlak, western Kazakhstan. This location produces top quality teeth with different enamel colors. An extra large bourlette that is complete.
