A beautifully prepared, GEM QUALITY Comura bultyncki trilobite. The collector's favorite spiny trilobite. An April Fossil of the Month. Dozens of large spines fully exposed requiring many dozens of hours of air abrasion. One of the most difficult species to prepare. The Comura has very ornate spiny trilobite design with excellent compound eyes! Excellent shell and spine preservation. Large size. A scarce species! A LARGE Top Quality lower jaw Notorhynchus tooth - the Sevengill Cow shark, from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth has a rich tan crown with a tan root. A rare Top Quality, BLUE Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw tooth from the Beaufort Co. land site,  So. Carolina. An incredible BLUE with a tan band at the base colored crown. Highest quality enamel. The bourlette is a gorgeous black color and 95% complete with very small serration bumps at the base - a near Chubutensis - an early Miocene Meg tooth The serrations are large and sharp. An ULTRA RARE Top Quality, 6-1/4" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. A February Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light tan colored crown with brown bourlette, and light tan root. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color!  The serrations are razor sharp and essentially complete including an excellent tip serration. Incredible serrations for a BIG Megalodon tooth. The bourlette has a nice contrast -  mostly dentin layer. The root is nicely articulated and complete with an excellent light tan color. It is also wide (4-5/8") with essentially no hydration cracks. This Megalodon was found in the Yorktown Formation, Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina (Pliocene age = 4.5 MYA). An excellent BIG collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine! A TOP QUALITY very rare Parotodus benedeni tooth from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Lateral tooth. The crown has extremely sharp cutting edges. Excellent blue color with a gray root and bourlette. The root is ~1/4" thick and shows no hydration cracks. This Parotodus tooth was found in the Pungo River Formation (Miocene age).
