This C. hubbelli tooth has small serrations at the base of the cutting edge that disappear towards the tip. This tooth has an excellent tan colored crown and tan root. Fantastic color! An ultra rare, Top Quality lower jaw lateral Hexanchus tooth - the Sixgill Cow shark, from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth has a rich orange -  tan crown with a light tan root. Nine main cusps (two have some damage). The root is incredible - damage free and thick. Incredible color and preservation. These are Pliocene age, Yorktown Formation teeth.
