A GEM, 4-3/8" Classic Peruvian Megalodon tooth. Our February 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light orange colored crown with an exceptional two tone bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional light orange color! The bourlette is excellent and complete. The serrations are extra large and razor sharp with an exceptional tip serration. Essentially PERFECT serrations with partial damage to one. Exceptional serrations! The root is an excellent white color. This Megalodon was found in the Ocucate area of Peru (Miocene age). Note -  the "root ears"on the root and the exceptionally large serrations - Miocene traits.  One of the finest examples of a classic Peruvian Miocene Megalodon tooth considering the shape, color, and preservation. A Top Quality, 4-1/2" Classic Peruvian Early Megalodon tooth. Our 2nd February 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible tan colored crown with an excellent tan bourlette. "The Twist"  A rare Top Quality PATHOLOGIC Auriculatus tooth from Harleyville, So. Carolina.  An incredible twisted tooth. An excellent gray colored crown with a black colored bourlette, and a black colored root. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color & preservation. The serrations are large and razor sharp including the tip. One large side cusp. The root is complete and very well preserved. It is very hard to find these teeth in perfect condition. Near perfect tooth. A rare collector's Harleyville Auriculatus tooth! A rare Myliobatis barb section from Sumatra, Indonesia. This ray barb was deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's fossil.
