An Ultra Rare, GEM Quality Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Meg teeth to locate. A March 2021 Fossil of the Month. This colorful tooth was found in a "fire zone" site south of the Kern River. Highest quality enamel with a great tan and golden tan colors with charcoal highlights. The bourlette is a red color and 100% complete. The serrations are extra large and 100% complete with a great tip. The root is nicely articulated and complete. Also note the grooves on the root ends - a Miocene trait. This is a middle Miocene Meg - very unique!  100% natural. No repair or restoration. A Top Quality, Ultra Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis node cluster from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the skull. This is a node cluster with a large node surrounded by a group of smaller nodes. This node cluster has excellent color / patina with exceptional surface articulation. The blood grooves are still present in the bone. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. Note - the excellent articulated skull surface on the base of the node. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. An excellent and very rare collector's quality Pachychephalosaurus node cluster. A rare, Top Quality, EXTRA LARGE Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. Another June 2018 Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An exceptional manus claw. Highest quality rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible perservation with exceptional surfaces - no pitting, nicks or wear - superb surface articulation! There is some professional restoration which is typical for a big Anzu wyliei manus claw. The tip has a small section repaired and the proximal edge has a small triangular area repaired which starts at the center of proximal surface (see photo). A rare, Top Quality Classic Red Site Carcharocles megalodon from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. This Meg is an incredible upper jaw anterior tooth. An April Fossil of the Month. NC002 has an incredibly rich copper-red color. Fantastic color! The enamel is the highest quality with exceptional gloss. The serrations are large and 100% complete with a perfect tip. Bourlette is brown and 80% complete with minimal dentin layer exposed. The root is completeand nicely articulated. A very well preserved tooth. This is a gorgeous Miocene Meg with "root ear" develoment and grooves on the root end sides. Note - you rarely see a copper red colored Megalodon tooth that has a top quality crown and serrations and a complete root - a top 1% tooth from this site! A rare Top Quality Triceratops horridus caudal vertebra from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A November Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This is a caudal (tail) vertebra with exceptional detail preserved with great color and patina. You can see the vertebra surface is very rugous and the vertebra is very thick with a very round centra which are characteristics of Triceratops and distinguishes it from a Hadrosaur. Triceratops bones are more difficult to find. Please note that the left transverse porcess and the spinous process were professionally restored. This is now specimen compete. It is extremely rare to find vertebra that are complete. Legally collected on private land in Powder River Co., Montana. It comes with the custom steel stand as shown. A rare, EXTRA LARGE, GEM Quality Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. A February Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". A fantastic manus claw. This is 1st manus claw which is largest and most robust; often referred as the "thumb". Excellent rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible preservation - no pitting, nicks or wear. All surfaces are fantasic - very rare. Note - a small tip area was professionally restored which is typical for most Hell Creek claws. The repair is quite small with the repaired area being 5 mm on the right facing side of the tip. On the left facing side of tip, it is 1-2 mm. This is top quality, collector's claw from the Hell Creek of Montana. An ultra rare Big, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth from a large adult Rex. A July 2020 Fossil of the Month. This stocky Rex crown measures 3-5/8" (straight line) and is thick for its size (1-1/4"). The enamel is highest quality. Great rich dark chocolate brown and black color. Excellent serrations on the anterior and posterior serrations. Note - There is no wear facet at the tip and this tooth is serrated to the tip (a recently erupted BIG tooth - rare). One partial hydration crack which was stabilized. No breaks. No repair or restoration. A 100% natural tooth! Fantastic overall condition with incredible serrations for a large Rex tooth. A HUGE, High Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth from a very large adult Rex. A June 2020 Fossil of the Month. This massive Rex crown measures 4-9/16" (straight up) or 4-7/8" (straight line) or 5"+ (on curve) and has a big root (2" Wide). The enamel is good quality with some root etchings and natural cracks. Good brown color. The serrations are worn, but visible. The tip is good. Cracks are stabilized with some crack fill. No breaks - possibly one. A natural tooth from a BIG Rex! Note - most teeth of this size that you see are heavy restored and sometimes two teeth are put together! This tooth has original enamel from tip to base. An ULTRA RARE Top Quality, EXTRA LARGE Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth from a large adult T. rex. An April Fossil of the Month. This Rex crown measures 4-3/4" (straight line) or 5" (on curve) and 1-5/8" wide. The enamel is the high quality. Great brown & black color. A massive extra wide tooth. You can see why this bone crusher is referred to as a "banana tooth". Overall the tooth is excellent quality with crack fill. This is a real 5" tooth. Note - this tooth was found in the spring of 2021 and it was exposed to the winter freeze and thaw cycle which cracked the tooth in to pieces. An ULTRA RARE High Quality, 6"+ Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth from a large adult T. rex. A May Fossil of the Month. This Rex crown measures 5-13/16" (straight line) or 6-1/4" (on curve) and 1-7/8" wide. The enamel is the very good quality with some wear. Great brown & black color. A massive extra wide tooth. You can see why this bone crusher is referred to as a "banana tooth". Overall the tooth is very good quality with typical crack fill and some wear from tumbling down a Hell Creek stream. This is a real ~6" tooth. No major restoration or fill  and not a "Frankenstein" combination tooth like other sellers have offered. The serrations were very worn and were professionally restored.
