An EXTRA LARGE Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (upper jaw lateral tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth exhibits the classic characteristic shape of the middle Miocene Mako teeth found both in the Lee Creek mine and the NC red site. I do not see this Mako tooth shape from other Miocene deposits. Possibly a hastalis species variation and it is referred to as the "narrow form". Maximum size is approximately 2". This tooth has a rich  tan crown and a light tan colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.

A LARGE Quality, "The Grumpy Old Man" Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw tooth from the ACE river basin, South Carolina. A wild Brown colored crown with black highlights that is covered with deep wrinkles! Good quality enamel. The bourlette is a large and black colored color. The serrations are worn, but visible. A GEM Quality Aetomylaeus sp., an Eagle ray, mouth plate from Caldera area of Chile. An excellent plate of pavement teeth from the upper jaw. The specimen resides on its orinigal matrix. This plate has exceptional preservation, fantastic deep red colors, and exceptionally clean. Note - the bottom side of this specimen is mostly matrix covered with a large whale bone is exposed. An incredible late Miocene Eagle ray mouth plate from the Bahia Inglesa Fm.  Museum Quality. A very rare, Top Quality Ceratopsian toe from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An April Fossil of the Month.  There were three ceratopsian dinosaur species found in the Horseshoe Canyon formation. This is an excellent four piece non-associated juvenile ceratopsian toe. The bones have great preservation and fantastic color / patina. Complete specimens with minor crack fill. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in Alberta, Canada. An EXTRA LARGE, Colorful, Top Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia. This Megalodon has a tan colored crown with a GOLDEN tan  colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color!  The bourlette is complete. The serrations are razor sharp with a razor sharp tip serration. Excellent serrations with one strange area. As seen on the left side of  photo #1, the serrations are short and each serration is perfectly rounded. This area appears to be a natural wear facet from striking an opposing tooth. extremely uncommon in sharks. Very strange. The root is excellent, great white color, and essentially complete with no display side erosion.  Miocene Age. No repair or restoration. Authenticity Guaranteed. A Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian - Two Medicine Fm.) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. A May Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 1-13/16" -  an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. Anterior and posterior serrations are excellent. Serrated to the tip with a small wear facet on tip. Base is large and round. No crack, repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Two Medicine Fm., Glacier Co., Montana. This is an excellent Daspletosaurus tooth based on size and roundness of the tooth cross-section. A Top Quality Carcharodon carcharias, the Great White shark, tooth from So. Carolina. An upper jaw anterior tooth. Solid gray colored enamel and a solid brown colored root.
