A rare, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens hand claw (manus ungual) from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. They were mainly bipedal, but could walk on all four legs in search of food. As noted by the front leg size difference, Edmontosaurus could put little weight on them. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Carter Co., Montana. An incredibly sized, GEM Great White shark tooth from Chile. A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus brow horn from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A March Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek Formation. This is a special horn with exceptional detail preserved with excellent color and natural patina. Fantastic surface articulation. You can see all of the natural blood grooves around the surface of the horn. Plus the horn base end is completely cleaned to see the internal terminus of the horn - a very complete specimen (see photo).
