A Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (upper anterior jaw tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth exhibits the classic characteristic shape of the middle Miocene Mako teeth found both in the Lee Creek mine and the NC red site. I do not see this Mako tooth shape from other Miocene deposits. Possibly a hastalis species variation and it is referred to as the "narrow form". Maximum size is approximately 2". This tooth has a rich  blue crown and a tan colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A perfect "Pungo" hastalis tooth.

A LARGE, ultra rare, Top Quality Tyrannosaur toe bone from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. Please note that this toe bone could Albertosaurus, Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. A May Fossil of the Month. This toe bone measures 3-5/8" - an excellent Tyrannosaur toe bone. This could be the next to last digit of the center toe (see Albertosaurus foot photo). The bone is very high quality and complete with excellent color. One crack repaired. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Hill Co., Montana. An ULTRA RARE, Top Quality, rare lower jaw tooth from Hexanchus sp. from Nye Mudstone, Oregon. A February Fossil of the Month. Excellent brown color. Ten perfect primary cusps. Found in the Nye Mudstone Fm., Miocene age. An incredibly rare Hexanchus tooth! Authenticity guaranteed. Museum quality. Perfect tooth. I have never seen a Hexanchus tooth from Oregon.

A TOP Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia. This Megalodon has a cool blue draped over tan colored crown with a black colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color!  The bourlette is complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete with an excellent "needle-like" tip serration. Excellent  serrations.
