A rare, Top Quality Otodus sokolovi tooth from Boujdour, Western Sahara, Morocco. Enamel quality is excellent with an excellent large bourlette. The serrations are very sharp - razor sharp. The side cusps are complete with uniform serrations. The root is massive and complete. Exceptional preservation. This tooth is a Late Eocene age, Aridal Formation (approx. 42 million years ago). An ULTRA Rare, TOP QUALITY Parotodus benedeni tooth from Sharktooth Hill, near Bakersfield California. A December 2022 Fossil of the Month. This tooth has a highly desirable light tan enamel and a very massive root. This Parotodus benedeni tooth remains mounted on the original Round Mountain Silt matrix and it is sitting on a chunk of whale bone. The crown enamel has very good luster and very sharp edges. Highest quality enamel! Note -  a small (~1/8") tip repair was professionally done.  A very difficult tooth to locate and an EXCEPTIONAL Collector's tooth! A group of six TOP QUALITY, Metasequoia dakotensis cones on original Hell Creek Formation matrix from Montana. These "dinosaur age" pine cones are found in the Hell Creek Formation of Dawson Co., Montana. A March Fossil of the Month.   These Upper Cretaceous pine cones are high quality with great preservation.They are fully inflated spheres and maximun size (redwoods produce very small cones for their size!). A High Quality Thescelosaurus neglectus ilium (hip bone) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Thescelosaurus is a mid-sized dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The ilium is the weight bearing bone in the hip and it also is bone rarely seen. The hip socket area is well preserved. This bone quality is excellent with excellent color and patina. A rare High Quality Carcharomodus escheri, a "serrated Mako" shark tooth - lower jaw anterior tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. The Carcharomodus escheri  was named as a new genus in 2015 based upon a crenulated cutting edge ("wavy serrations"), slender & duistally inclined crown, and side cusplets. This tooth has good color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge. Two side cusplets. The age is late Miocene (approx. 6-8 million years ago). An excellent rare collector's tooth.
