An excellent pair of early Mako shark teeth,  I. praecursor, an Eocene age Mako.  Very nice color. These very difficult teeth to find in the limestone quarries. Found in the Castle Hayne Fm., Castle Hayne, NC.

A March Fossil of the Month.  An excellent gray colored crown with a brown colored bourlette, and a brown colored root. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color & preservation. The serrations are large and razor sharp including the tip. Two large side cusps. The root is complete, extra thick (7/8"), and very well preserved. A Top Quality Cretodus crassidens, an extinct Mackerel shark, tooth from Denton Co., Texas. An October Fossil of the Month. An excellent example of this Lower Cretaceous Eagle Ford Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design that includes a large / heavy root with high root face, a narrow crown width, and broad side cusps. This is the big shark tooth in Texas Cretaceous deposits which can reach 2.6". This is a lateral tooth with perfect side cusps. Authenticity guaranteed. Perfect tooth. I don't see many of these teeth.

An Extra Large, Top Quality Priscacara (Cockerellites) liops fish from the 18" layer, Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming. The Priscacara liops is an extinct Perch from the Eocene age (50 MYA).
