A rare Carcharhinus limbatus tooth, the Blacktip shark, from Sumatra, Indonesia. These teeth were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth. An incredible Top Quality Megalodon tooth from Georgia and a June 2018 Fossil of the Month. The crown has a fantastic charcoal gray with light gray and black serrations. The crown also has a very unique wide” spade-like” shape. The enamel is the Highest Quality; glass-like with few hydration cracks! An exceptional, extra large black bourlette – nearly perfect. Razor sharp serrations including an exceptional tip serration. Nearly perfect serrations! The root is nicely articulated, brown colored, and complete. This Georgia Meg is very special – a real “looker”. Definitely a Miocene age Meg tooth with small Chubutensis like bumps at the base of the crown and grooves along the edge of the root lobes. Note - these Georgia Megs are fantastic - essentially no sign of wear and excellent preservation. You would think that these Georgia teeth were collected from a land site with the degree of perfection that they exhibit. A near Perfect Meg tooth. An exceptional collector's Megalodon tooth from Georgia. A TOP QUALITY, EXTRA LARGE & very rare Archaeocete whale, Zygorhiza kochii. Our November Fossil of the Month is a highly desirable Zygorhiza molar or "yoke" tooth.  An exceptional light brown colored crown and tan root. Nicely articulated. Complete root. This tooth has minimal repair to 2nd & 4th cusp on the left side and a small amount to the 4th cusp on the right side. Very little repair overall for a yoke tooth which are typically heavily repaired.  The BEST Archaeocete molar that I have seen from So. Carolina in a long time. A very rare collector's tooth. A ~4" TOP QUALTIY Megalodon - Golden Beach tooth. Fantastic caramel tan colored crown with an incredible brown colored bourlette (extra large & complete!) and a brown root. Highest quality enamel. Excellent serrations with a damaged tip serration. No hydration cracks on root! Miocene age (10-15 million years ago). A very good size for a Florida Meg tooth.  A couple of small flaws away from an ultra high dollar GEM tooth. No repair - of course! An excellent collector's Golden Beach tooth.
