A rare, Top Quality Alopias grandis shark tooth, the extinct Giant Thresher, from the Wando River,  So. Carolina. Nice blue color. Very good preservation and condition with a small root end chip. A very rare, High Quality Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth. This tooth measures 2-1/2". The enamel has an excellent color and patina. Very good mesial and distal serrations. Base cross-section is a extra large, tall oval. No hydration cracks. A small amount of crack fill and small sections were restored. A BIG high quality tooth! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. An EXTRA LARGE TOP QUALITY, very rare Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Suwanee River, Suwanee Co., Florida. An excellent canine tooth (see photo for tooth positions).  An excellent black colored crown and root. Nicely articulated. Note - enamel tip shows a small wear pattern on crown. Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age.
