A Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth. This is a large Premaxillary tooth ("Premax") or front tooth in the jaw which have a "D" shape. An October Fossil of the Month. This Premax Rex crown measures 2-3/16" and is very thick for its size (1"). The enamel is highest quality. Great rich chocolate brown color. The serrations are exceptional going to the tip. There is essentially no wear facet at the tip which is not typical for a Premax tooth. One small crack, but no break. No repair or restoration. A Top Quality, Ultra Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis node cluster from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the skull. This is a node cluster with five nodes (three complete and two partial nodes). This node cluster has excellent color / patina with exceptional surface articulation. The blood grooves are still present in the bone. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. Note - the excellent articulated skull surface on the base of the node. A rare Top Quality Triceratops horridus vertebra from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations which is know for three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This is a caudal (tail) vertebra with exceptional detail preserved and great color / patina. You can see the vertebra surface is very rugous and the vertebra is very thick with a very round centra which are characteristics of Triceratops and distinguishes it from a Hadrosaur. Triceratops bones are more difficult to find. No repair or restoration. It is very rare to find vertebra that are complete. 100% natural specimen.
