A rare, Top Quality Otodus sokolovi tooth from the desert of Fayum Depression, Birket-le-Qurun, Egypt. A February Fossil of the Month. Excellent condition and preservation. No repair or restoration. Complete tooth. This tooth was found in the Qsar-el-Sagha Fm., and is late Eocene age (38-42 MYA). Authenticity guaranteed. I have never seen an Otodus sokolovi tooth from Egypt. A TOP QUALITY, Metasequoia dakotensis cone from Montana. These "dinosaur age" pine cones are found in the Hell Creek Formation of Dawson Co., Montana. These Upper Cretaceous pine cones are high quality with great preservation.They are fully inflated spheres and maximun size (redwoods produce very small cones for their size!). The Metasequoia is the "dawn redwood", and it is one of the three redwood conifers species. Authenticity guaranteed.

A rare Top Quality Triceratops horridus occipital condyle from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for three horns and the large frill protecting its neck. This is a beautiful 3-3/4" occipital condyle with excellent detail preserved. This large codyle has fantastic color and patina plus a large section of braincase is attached. Note - The occipital condyle was the connection point of the Triceratops massive skull to the vertebrae column, and it allowed for maximum rotation of the head. No repair or restoration. A well preserved extinct Giant Capybara molar from Edisto River, So. Carolina.  The Giant Capybara was an oversized rodent that evolved in the Pleistocene and became extinct at the end of the Pleistocene in North America. A rare, Top Quality Otodus obliquus shark tooth, the extinct Mackerel shark, from the Muddy Creek, Virginia. Nice tan color. Excellent preservation and condition. An early Eocene tooth.
