A very rare, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth. This tooth measures 2-1/16".  The enamel has an excellentl color and patina. Excellent mesial and distal serrations. Base cross-section is a tall oval. Tip is repaired. A top quality maxillary tooth! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. A Top Quality Ptychodus polygyrus, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Kamp Ranch Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design with 8 to 9 fine transverse ridges extending across the cusp face and transition to a concentric pattern at the base of the cusp. Authenticity guaranteed.
