An ultra rare GEM quality, Classic Peruvian Megalodon tooth. A September Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an excellent blue & brown colored crown. The bourlette is a dark brown and 100% complete. The root is a light brown and complete. Incredible color! Highest quality enamel. The bourlette is excellent and 100% complete. A rare, High Quality CLASSIC Chile Megalodon tooth from the phosphate layer, Bahia Inglesa Fm., Caldera area, Chile.  A gorgeous light tan colored crown with no enamel peel. High quality enamel. The bourlette is an excellent mahogany brown color, large and 100% complete. The serrations and tip are razor sharp and complete. The root is excellent red-orange color with excellent articulation and 100% complete. The root is excellent, but the root ends cracked while removing matrix on rear. Great"eye appeal". A GEM Harleyville Auriculatus tooth.  A less common lower jaw anterior tooth - a very difficult position tooth to find. Gorgeous gray colored crown with a black colored bourlette, and light gray root. Highest quality enamel! Exceptionally colored & preserved. The serrations are large and razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. The root is complete and very well preserved. It is very hard to find these teeth in perfect condition. Museum quality.  A killer collector's Harleyville Auriculatus tooth!

A 3-3/16" GEM Harleyville Auriculatus tooth.  A 2nd August Fossil of the Month. An exceptional upper jaw anterior tooth. Gorgeous tan colored crown with a red brown colored bourlette, and red root. Highest quality enamel! Exceptionally colored & preserved. The serrations are large and razor sharp with an good tip serration. The root is complete and well preserved. A very rare, EXTRA LARGE Auriculatus lateral tooth from Peru with a tan crown and brown root. The serrations are very nice -  large and razor sharp. Excellent side cusp development. "Flaming Red Auric"  A very rare, EXTRA LARGE Auriculatus lateral tooth with a tan crown and a gorgeous, highly articulated red colored root. The bourlette is red colored, extra large, and nearly complete. The serrations are very nice -  large, razor sharp, and complete. Massive side cusps.  Incredible preservation -  among the finest you will see with an Auriculatus. The only challenge with this tooth is the left root corner broke during extraction and was reattached. The repair work is very well done and very hard to detect (no filler).   These Peruvian Aurics are very rare.
