A very rare, Top Quality Anchiceratops ornatus epoccipital (frill ornament) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Anchiceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Horseshoe Canyon formation which has three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This epoccipital has excellent detail preserved and great color / patina. The epoccipitals were triangular bone ornaments that lined the top of the frill.  Note - this epoccipital  position is naturally asymmetrical  (see 2nd photo of right side). This epoccipital exhibits incredible detail and is very thick & heavy. A rare Akantharges mbareki trilobite. This rare trilobite species has only been available for 5 years. A very ornate design with spines and tubercles on its cephalon and pygidium! A RARE, Top Quality juvenile Araripesuchus wegenari crocodile tooth from the Kem Kem beds of Morocco. A scarce rooted tooth. Incredible detail and color. Note - the Araripesuchus has a flattened crown which gives it a flattened oval profile when viewed from the base. Thought to have a mixed diet that may have included vegetation. These crocodile teeth are middle Cretaceous epoch, Cenomanian stage (96 million years ago). An exceptional collector's tooth. No repair. No restoration. An ultra rare, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth - a large Rex tooth with a partial root (not a shed tooth). An August Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 2-3/4".  The enamel has exceptional color and patina. Excellent anterior and posterior serrations. The serrations are large and wrap around the tip. This tooth was recently erupted and had no tip wear. No hydration cracks or breaks. Note - the root section is 1-1/4"+ and with a wall that is nearly 1/4" thick. Not likely a shed tooth breaking that deep below the gum line. 100% natural tooth. A top quality tooth! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey.
