A GEM, 3" Lee Creek Isurus xiphodon tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth. Yes, I said a 3" LC Mako!!! (Ok, let's call it 2-31/32".) This tooth is from an old collection. A Top Quality Elosuchus(?) crocodile scute from the Kem Kem region of Morocco. Incredible detail and color. This is a complete scute ("body armor") which is most likely from the dominate crocodile for the region - Elosuchus. The crocodile scute is Mid Cretaceous epoch, Cenomanian stage (96 million years ago). No repair or restoration. An exceptional collector's scute. Authenticity guaranteed. A MUSEUM QUALITY group of two Sinosura kelheimensis, a Brittle Star. The largest is 1-3/8" in length. Incredible detail. Excellent preservation and excellent preparation. Matrix size is 4-1/2" x 2". This Brittle star is from Hienheim, Bavaria, Germany. Upper Jurassic (Lower Tithonian). Rare! A top quality collector's piece.

An Ultra Rare, Extra Large Pappocetus lugardi (Andrews, 1920) incisor tooth from Morocco. This material is a new find and represents one of the earliest transition forms of the whale. Pappocetus is a protocetid (see discussion below) and a large amphibious aquatic carnivore. Pappocetus is also an ancestor of the Basilosaurus. This material is complete and without repair. Crack fill only on some pieces. This is an opportunity to own an incredibly rare specimen from an early evolutionary stage of the modern whale. Perfect tooth. A fantastic collector's specimen.
