A Top Quality Palmoxylon sp. - Petrified Palm slice from Sumatra, Indonesia. This petrified palm is Oligocene age (30 MYA). One side is polished and the other side is sanded. The interior is highly vascular with unqiue pores and channels that have been silicified into agate. Trunk slice thickness is 1/2" and makes a great display. A very rare, Otodus sokolovi upper jaw, anterior tooth from Kert, Mangyshlak, western Kazakhstan. A November Fossil of the Month. This location produces top quality teeth with brown colored enamel.
