A very rare, early Otodus mugodzharicus upper jaw, lateral tooth from Aktulagay, western Kazakhstan. A transitional tooth leading to C. auriculatus (see detailed discussion below) which leads to Megalodon. A November Fossil of the Month.The bourlette is complete. Tooth exhibits "wavy serrated" edges similar to the Isurus escheri tooth. These teeth exhibit very good color, gloss, and preservation. A rare, early Eocene Auriculatus transition tooth. A very challenging tooth to find when building a Megalodon evolutionary set! No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. An ultra rare, TOP QUALITY Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site.  A May Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an excellent brown colored crown with mottled brown color shades and an excellent gold & brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color! The bourlette is extra large and 85% complete. The serrations are razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. Excellent serrations for a BIG Meg tooth. The root on the display side is excellent and on the reverse side it is some pitting which is all to common for these Megs. Miocene Age. No repair or restoration. Authenticity Guaranteed. The Scyphocrinites crinoids were floating crinoids and their holdfast was actually an air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx. This holdfast is bulbous with a great amount of detail. These crinoids make fantastic display pieces. An excellent rare holdfast specimen. The Scyphocrinites crinoids were floating crinoids and their holdfast was actually an air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx. This holdfast is bulbous with a fantastic detail. A peg stand is included as in the photos. These crinoid holdfasts make excellent fantastic display pieces.
