An extinct early Running Rhinoceras tooth (Hyracodon nebraskensis) from Sioux Co., Nebraska. Hyracodon nebraskensis was one of many mammals that thrived in the Early Oligocene in North America. Found in the Brule Fm. (Rupelian) 33 - 30 million years ago. A very well preserved specimen. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.

A Leptopius duponti - fossil Weevil cocoon from Eyre Pennisula, South Australia. They are known as "pixie clogs". These cacoons were spun by the weevils in their pupae stage to protect them during metamorphosis into adult beetles. Excellent preservation. Note - 1-5/16" thick. This is a late Pleistocene - Holocene trace fossil. A unique display piece!

A Very Scarce, Quality Carcharodon (Isurus) hastalis tooth -  an upper jaw anterior Mako tooth from the Dakhla area, Western Sahara, Morocco. Very good quality enamel. A nice tan color. A well preserved juvenile bison toe bone (Bison antiquus) from Northern Florida.  This is the second toe bone (phalanx).  The bison arrived in North America during the middle Pleistocene (195, 000 to 135,000 years ago). A fantastic, large well preserved Jurassic brachiopod from Poix-Terron, France. All fully inflated and complete. Brachiopods are bivalve molluscs. Both valves present  - complete specimens and matrix free. Note - 1-1/4" thick and heavy! Excellent preservation. This is a Middle Jurassic (Bathonian -165 MYA) brachiopod. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic specimen!

A Stromatolite sp. from Saf-Saf. Morocco. A possible Stromatolite algae mound from Morcco. Stromatolites are structures formed by colonies of blue green algae (or cyanobacteria). This is a Cretaceous Stromatolite. A very interesting display piece!
