A rare, LARGE Top Quality, Alopias exigua (Thresher) shark tooth from Ungoza, West Kazakhstan. Great color with a small tip nick. An incredible Oligocene (Rupelian) age tooth. A Top Quality Usakias wardi tooth (an Alopias family - Thresher shark) from Tushbair, Kazakhstan.  Lateral position. Note - These teeth have a heavy enameloid build up at the along the top of the root (similar to I. retroflexus - see photo).  Excellent color and condition. Excellent color and condition. A Top Quality Ptychodus whipplei, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Arcadia Park Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design with a very tall conical cusp with transverse ridges extending across the cusp face, but typically do not reach the margin. Authenticity guaranteed.
