These teeth are Oligocene in age (25-38 million years ago) from the Chandler Bridge Formation. Site 3 is a few limestone quarries in the Dorchester-Orangeburg counties area that yield superb specimens of Carcharocles auriculatus – the precursor of the extinct Giant White shark. These beautifully colored teeth are from the Pliocene epoch (approx. 4 million years ago). Authenticity guaranteed. Have a look.
