An ULTRA RARE, Top Quality 6-1/8" Caribbean Megalodon tooth - a lower jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. An August 2022 Fossil of the Month offering. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible very light tan colored crown with charcoal highlights. Highest quality enamel with no hydration cracks. The bourlette is near white colored and complete. The Caribbean Megalodon teeth consistently offer the closest to white colored enamel. Fantastic color! The serrations are razor sharp and complete. Excellent serrations overall. The root is a light tan color and no hydration cracks. Note - this tooth has professional restoration on a saw cut 3/4" below the tip and a few pits filled on root (typical for these teeth). Otherwise a perfect tooth. Excellent symmetry. This Megalodon was found in a commercial limestone quarry in the Caribbean (Miocene age). This is an incredibly colored Caribbean Megalodon tooth. One of finest examples of an ultra rare Caribbean Megalodon tooth that is natural that I have seen. An exceptional, rare collector's Megalodon tooth! Museum Quality Megalodon.
