An LUTRA RARE, Top Quality Hexanchus microdon tooth from the Khouribga phosphate mining area of Morocco. An October Fossil of the Month.  This is a lower jaw symphyseal tooth with eight primary cusps. Great preservation and color. The root is excellent - very unique & difficult to find! This is a newly named species from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. A species of Hexanchiforme shark. The crown is complete with 7 cusplets and the root has very small damage. High quality enamel. No repair. A very difficult tooth to locate and an excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A LARGE, ultra rare Top Quality Hexanchus hookeri, Six-gill Cow shark, tooth from Aktulagay, Kazakhstan. This lower jaw tooth has 8 primary cusps. An Early Eocene (Ypresian), TolagaysorFm. Cow shark species. The Kazakh Hexanchus hookeri  teeth are quite rare and excellent examples are hard to locate. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.
