GEM, ~5" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw A1 PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. I have received several requests for a perfect 5" Lee Creek Meg. This is the finest one that I have. I can't call it perfect, but it is darn close. Thinking about, I have never seen a "perfect" 5" Meg. This Meg has an incredible light tan colored crown with an exceptional hazel brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel - essentially no hydration cracks! Exceptional color! The bourlette is incredible and perfect. The serrations are large and razor sharp and essentially perfect with an incredible "needle like" tip. Excellent serrations! The root is an excellent tan color and absolutely complete. Excellent triangular symmetry! This Megalodon was found in the Yorktown Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Pliocene age = 5 MYA). This tooth is from an old collection. One of the finest examples of a classic upper jaw anterior Lee Creek Megs considering the shape, color, and preservation. An exceptional collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine! An incredible XL LC Meg! NO repair! The BEST of the BEST! One of my favorites. If you are looking for the finest LC Meg for the center of your collection, LC100 is your Meg. You won't see another one like this one.
