A LARGE, Top Quality Salix longiacuminata leaf from the Green River Fm., Cowboy Canyon, Bonanza Co., Utah. The Salix longiacuminata is a Willow leaf from the Eocene age (48 MYA) in the ancient Lake Unita deposit. This piece exhibits exceptional preservation and excellent color. Some natural insect damage. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. This leaf comes with a custom made wooden stand and ID plate (see photo). It is ready to display. An excellent display piece!
