Overview

A Metasequoia occidentalis (Dawn Redwood) branch from Beaverhead Co., Montana. The Metasequoia  evloved in late late Cretaceous and survived the end of the Mesozoic extinctions. Three branches with two on back. Great preservation. Found in the Muddy Creek Fm. -  Oligicene age. Authenticity guaranteed.
