A LARGE, Top Quality Eubaena cephalica - Baenidae Turtle skull, a Baenidae turtle, from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A May Fossil of the Month. Baenidae were freshwater aquatic turtles that lived amongst the dinosaurs and are found in the Hell Creek formation. This skull has incredible bone quality with excellent color and patina. Very high bone preservation. This skull is 100% complete and nicely articulated. No repair or restoration. No Crack fill.
