Palatobaena choen - Baenidae Turtle

A LARGE, Top Quality Palatobaena choen skull, a Baenidae turtle, from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Baenidae were freshwater aquatic turtles that lived amongst the dinosaurs and are found in the Hell Creek Formation. This skull has incredible bone quality with excellent color and patina. Very high bone preservation. This skull is near complete with a small section left side base missing. No repair or restoration. No Crack fill. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. An excellent collector's quality Palatobaena choen skull. Authenticity guaranteed. Museum Quality.
