    A Top Quality Palmoxylon sp. - Petrified Palm trunk section from Toledo Bend, Louisiana. This petrified palm is from the Catahoula Fm and is Oligocene age (30 MYA). One side is polished and the other side is natural. The interior is highly vascular with unqiue pores and channels that have been silicified into agate. Trunk slice thickness is 2.3/4" and makes a great display. This piece exhibits exceptional preservation and color. Authenticity guaranteed.     A Top Quality Lepidodendron section from Llewellen, Pennsylvania. The Lepidodendron is extinct genus of tree-sized primitive lycopsid plants that evolved during the Pennsylvanian Period. They are large vascular plants which is related to todays club mosses. This specimen is well preserved with dimple-like depressions covering the outer surface. Pennsylvanian age. (300 mya). It weighs 2.5 pounds. Authenticity guaranteed.
