An exceptionally large Jurassic Cylindroteuthis Belemnite from the Rizan Region, Russia. The brown translucent shell shows exceptional preservation with a polished surface. These Belemnites are incredibly large and massive! From the Kelovey Fm., Middle Jurassiv (170 MYA).  My largest specimen. Authenticity guaranteed.

An EXTRA LARGE, Paraspirifer bownockeri brachiopod from the Silica Shale Fm., Sylvania, Ohio. Brachiopods are bivalve molluscs, and this is a big one. Both valves present  - complete specimen and matrix free. Note -  1-1/4" thick and heavy! This is a Devonian (395 mya) brachiopod. The big Silica Fm. brachiopod. An excellent, rare unidentified Dicotaledon fruit / seed pod specimen from Morocco. The Moroccan "pine cone". Found in the late Eocene sediments in Western Sahara, Morocco. Excellent detail preserved. Note that the interior of the cone is replaced by agate.
