A rare TOP QUALITY Araucaria mirabilis pine cone specimens from Argentina. An October Fossil of the Month. This cone was found and remains on its original natural matrix. These Upper Cretaceous pine cones are high quality with great preservation. They are fully inflated spheres and maximun size (redwoods produce very small cones for their size!). The Metasequoia is the "dawn redwood", and it is one of the three redwood conifers species. Authenticity guaranteed.
